Why our guests

LOVE STAYING HERE

We had a great trip to Ashland staying at this BNB! It was perfect for a big group/family. We adored the character of this incredible house paired with the ease of modern amenities! We enjoyed the layout which had different pockets to hang out in which allowed some of us enjoying playing board games in the dining room while others watched tv in the living room. Everything was exactly as described and pictured and the location was a dream for Ashland. So walkable! Ample parking in the back was great and loved the private back deck! We attended a play at Oregon Shakespeare Festival and it was a lovely walk from this location. Not to mention a grocery store SO close by it was easy to grab food when we needed it. We also were able to walk downtown and explored lithia park with ease. We would be happy to return and stay here any time. Thank YOU!

April 2024
The house was beautiful and comfortable . Amazing location

October 2024
We were really impressed with this air bb. The space was bigger than I realized and was equipped with all the necessary kitchen supplies. The beds were comfortable and the library with the pullout couch closes off with curtains, which offers a lot of privacy. Sylvie was extremely responsive and proactive. I would definitely stay here again!

April 2024
Ashland is a lovely place to visit. We loved the hiking, biking and hanging around town in addition to attending the Shakespeare Festival, along with great places to eat and try local beers.

September 2024
There were just two of us and with the bedrooms spread out we each had all the space we needed while life passed by on Siskiyou Blvd.

Great place to stay. A few minor issues that were promptly addressed. Looking forward to staying again.

January 2025
Sylvie‘s place was absolutely fantastic! The moment we walked in, we felt right at home. The house had absolutely everything we needed: bathroom toiletries, kitchen pots, pans, dishes, utensils and spices; laundry facilities and detergent. The beds were all incredibly comfortable as was the furniture. We especially liked the library, we spent a lot of time in there as it was cozy, comfortable, and intimate-great books too! The house was squeaky clean; the location was super easy to find. We also loved the front porch. We could walk to the grocery store and even to downtown for shopping and restaurants. The entire neighborhood was walkable. Sylvie was a fabulous communicator throughout our stay, we really appreciated that. I highly recommend Sylvie‘s place and would stay there again if traveling to Ashland.

February 2025
We had fun staying at this cute house for the OSF. It was a little walk, but not too far away from the downtown and area for the plays. My kids loved the old house and the charm. Very responsive and helpful host.

July 2024
The pictures do not do this property justice! It is a beautiful, huge space, and in a great location. Owner was very helpful and easy to contact. We can’t wait to come back!

June 2024
We had a wonderful stay at Sylvia’s home. A beautiful Victorian house located in the downtown Ashland, close to everything, in walking distance from Safeway. Love the cute decorations throughout the house. Great stay, we’ll definitely use it again should we be passing through Ashland in the future. Thank you for sharing your lovely home with us!!

November 2024
Wonderful house, close to town. Easy communication.

March 2024
This roomy house was great for our visit. The kitchen was well equipped. The porches front and back were delightful. The stairs and upstairs floors are squeaky, which was the only downside to this lovely old home

June 2024
Our group loved staying here! The house is very spacious and accommodating, so everyone could relax and had privacy if they wanted. Everything was very clean and the kitchen was set up for some light cooking. We loved that it was conveniently walkable to most anywhere. Super cute place to stay!

April 2025
We were staying in Ashland for a night as we traveled north. Sylvia’s place was in a great location and it felt like home. We liked it so much that we booked it for our return trip a week later.

August 2024
Sylvie was great, she made it very easy and always communicated. Great property and location. Thank you again!

May 2024
Great place to stay! Really lovely antique home: Tradition foyer, sitting room, LIBRARY/den, kitchen, and dining room. Lovely woodwork and staircase. Well-stocked kitchen with central island. Location is superb: It's within a 10-minute walk to downtown and the Oregon Shakespeare Festival. We walked to every performance and never had to worry about parking! Very responsive host. The other problem was that the toaster was broken. We reported it, and a new toaster was delivered the next day! Would definitely stay here again. :-)

March 2025
This was an amazing, charming, well-kept place. The location is fantastic and Sylvie is a great hostess as she is responsive, friendly and quick. The only call out that we had was the mattress of the sleep sofa which was not usable. It seems like the mattress is very old and not comfortable at all. My daughter ended up having to sleep in the coach which wasn’t fun for her and not how we figured the number of beds etc. Overall though, this is a place worth going minus one full bed.

April 2024
worked great for our family!

April 2025
nice place us described

March 2024
The location was great. The home was very cozy, clean, and spacious. Sylvie was a great host. She was very communicative and easy to get in touch with. Responded in a very timely manner.

August 2024
Beautiful house in a very convenient location! We walked all over the place, and there was a grocery store a block away. Easy walk to the historic district, Lithia Park, walking path, and cute neighborhoods. Can't wait to return to Ashland!

May 2024
This house was perfect for our family. We felt it was really our home away from home. It's in a great location to walk to everything we wanted to do. We didn't need to worry about parking when we went to see our play. Our host was wonderful, and quickly responded to an issue we found when we arrived. We would love to come back again.

August 2024
Great location convenient to everything

March 2024
This is a perfect spot to stay in Ashland!

October 2024
Sylvie’s place surpassed our expectations! Nicely appointed. Really interesting and well maintained older home. Tons of character. Great location - practically next door to the Safeway for walkable groceries. Easy walk to downtown shopping, Lithia Park, and the plays. Easy walk to Chozu for a soak and/or a massage. We could park once and walk to everything we love to do in Ashland. Highly recommend this place!

May 2025
The place is even cuter in person. Sylvie was very responsive and the kitchen was decked out. Walking distance to everything practically. Would stay here again.

May 2024
It was a joy to stay in this beautiful, Victorian home. The downtown area is a pleasant walk away, and a Safeway is almost next door. I give this facility my highest recommendation with one small word of caution. The downstairs bathroom, adjacent to the bedroom at the back of the house, has a high-tech shower-bathtub combination that might be difficult to enter for some older visitors. While I was able to step in, somewhat cautiously, the rim of the tub was simply too high for my wife, who also would have had difficulty with going up the stairs to the bathroom on the second floor. Other than that, however, everything certainly met our needs and those of our children and grandson.

April 2024
This was the first time taking my parents over to a Victorian house. This place has a lot of charm and spacious rooms. The kitchen is a big plus will revisit next time.

March 2024
With a new owner and/or manager, this delightful house continues to be our favorite place to stay in Ashland. Very comfortable, and a nice walk to OSF, the many good restaurants and shops in town, and Lithia Park.

April 2025
Fantastic host and great location.

January 2025
We had a wonderful weekend staying at Sylvie’s house! The home was so beautiful and historic and there was more than enough room for four adults. My parents loved the fancy shower and exploring the library and we really appreciated the fenced backyard area for our dog. It got a little toasty in Ashland the weekend we were there but the AC kept up nicely. The location was amazing! So easy to walk into town but in a very peaceful setting. Sylvie was an excellent host and was very responsive when we had questions. We would love to stay here again!

May 2024
What a beautiful house and convenient location! We walked to downtown and OSF and the Safeway was virtually next door. The house is beautifully maintained as well as being spacious and comfortable. There is a separate library room as well as living room, and a separate dining area off the kitchen, so plenty of places to hang out and have your own space. Easy, prompt communications with the owner, too. It was an all-around pleasure that stay here!

March 2025
The home was absolutely beautiful! It was a perfect home away from home for our family.

May 2024
This is such a lovely place! Our only disappointment was that we were not staying longer. The home is cozy and inviting, and is within easy walking distance of restaurants, shops, and theaters. The master suite is luxurious, and the library has a little something for everyone.

August 2024
great location for our meeting (right by the university). Lots of space to spread out- tons of good books to read

November 2024
A super charming old house complete with squeaky floors and a magnificent staircase. We loved our stay and the convenient location in walking distance to all the shops downtown, plus right by a Safeway for any necessities.

April 2024
Spacious home close to town. Had everything you need. A bit of traffic noise, but not bad at all. The house is old and creaks a bit, but super nice house and lots of areas to spread out. Highly recommend

March 2024
Wonderful home with plenty of space and amenities for taking in a couple shows at the Ashland Shakespeare Festival. It's also under a 15 minute walk to any of the theatres. It is an older home (which is a lot of of the charm!) so the creaky wood floors will wake your travel partners should you go to bed at different times. Would stay again!

September 2024
You get a great three bedroom spot a short walk to groceries, coffee and restaurants. You can walk all the way to the city center from here but it's a long walk but the trade off is its a lot quieter. Great kitchen and cool 'library' room that is great to read and relax. Master bedroom has a jacuzzi tub that I enjoyed. I'll look to stay again in the future!

February 2024
Sylvie was a great communicator and set up a beautiful home. We'll definitely stay there again if we find ourselves In Ashland.

June 2024
We really enjoyed our stay! The house has so much character and charm, I don’t think I’m equipped to describe it all :) Every room has distinction and a really warm vibe to it. We had a full house and it really handled it well. When booking we didn’t realize it was located on the main road, but only noticed the cars in the AM. Super easy access to the grocery store on the corner, and a very pleasant walk to the theater. Would definitely stay here again!

September 2024
Close enough to walk to downtown but far enough you're a bit away from it. Right on the big road, but master bedroom on the far side of the house and things get really quiet evenings and night times.
Steve W
July 2024
Great place! Spacious, cozy with lots of charm. The location was great, We were able to walk to downtown!

February 2024
Great victorian right in the center of town. Setup for families with a nice kitchen and living room. Would definitely book again.

February 2025
This was our second time staying here. Highly recommend.

August 2024
Beautiful old house. Walkable in a very fun town

August 2024
We loved this sweet home. There is plenty of space for everyone to sleep and have privacy. We loved having wine in the study in the evenings. I would highly recommend this home for your stay. You can walk to downtown very easily and there’s a grocery store even closer.

February 2024
This rental was a great fit for our time in Ashland. The location was convenient, making it easy to get to everything we needed by car. The home was very clean, and we felt comfortable throughout our stay. The host was responsive and easy to reach, which we appreciated. Overall, a solid and comfortable stay.

March 2025
This was a perfect setting for a family/friends gathering of 4 adults for 3 nights. Great location, grocery store a few doors down, short walk to plays and downtown shops. The space inside was ideal for a small group, with separate dining/kitchen, living room, library, (with sleeper sofa), and 3 bedrooms, 2 1/2 bathrooms. Comfortable mattress, nice shower, well-equipped kitchen, plenty of off-street parking, we were very pleased to find this property and hope to return.

September 2024
This house and host are exceptional. The ‘fenced’ back yard was a bit of a stretch as it is portable and too flimsy for a big dog in a couple of spots, however, the back porch is large and fabulous and had a gate to close it off for our big dog. Highly recommended if you love old houses and their quirky charm.

November 2024
Great place to stay. Can walk to downtown in minutes. Safeway right near by. Lovely reading area.

February 2024
Adorable, old home in a great location. Perfect for our family to visit our daughter at SOU.

February 2024
We loved Sylvie’s place. It was a quaint victorian with plenty of space. Perfect location for walking around Ashland. Comfy and clean.

August 2024
We took a quiet walk every morning to a great local coffee shop. Spent the afternoons exploring down town and went to a show. The house was big enough to allow everyone their own space. Didn’t have to worry about waking up the folks who like to sleep in. Plenty of comfortable public rooms for board games, etc. We’d stay here again, no hesitation.

September 2024
Absolutely perfect stay! Gorgeous historical home that was comfortable, interesting, and in a great location for walking around town. Would stay here again in a heart beat! The host was also very communicative and helpful.

September 2024
Beautifully restored house.

September 2024
Great location. The house has a lot of character; just like staying with family.

July 2024
This place looked amazing online, but it was even more amazing in person. This is a beautiful, charming, and peaceful-in-the-heart-of-the-city haven. We were excited to explore Ashland, but almost reluctant to leave this beautiful home. It was an absolutely clean, comfortable, well-stocjed house that has gorgeous decor and a welcoming vibe. It's completley walkable to the great downtown area and the Shakespeare festival,, and a convenient two-minute walk to the grocery store. Wish we could have stayed longer and hope to visit again!
Christine S
July 2024
Loved the spaciousness of this house for our family of five, as well as the well-stocked kitchen and dining area where we had many snacks and meals! This place has a ton of character, with interesting artifacts and art all around. The home is older, though, with squeaky floors/stairs, and window A/C units upstairs that were on the loud side. The location was amazing, and we took a lot of walks to downtown, Lithia Park, and the Safeway next door. Thank you for hosting us -- we had a great time!

June 2024
It was a joy staying at the property. We stayed 3 nights, saw two shows and just wandered around Ashland. The location was ideal. We were able to walk to everything. Mike

August 2024
Wonderful location and beautiful home! Steam shower was a nice bonus surprise :)

February 2025
Excellent!

April 2025
The proximity to Oregon Shakespeare Festival, downtown amenities and grocery shopping was fabulous. We could walk to all easily. There were 6 of us requiring 4 beds. Sleeping and bath arrangements fit our needs perfectly. Dining room was large enough for all of us to sit comfortably for meals. We will come back!

October 2024
Great location. Short walk to downtown. Nice place. Would stay here again for sure.
