We have a table for 2 and a kitchenette so you're all set for a bite or a morning coffee.

Relax on our sofa and stream your favorite shows on our Smart TV (Roku). Enjoy access to Netflix, Hulu, Prime Video, and Apple TV by simply entering your password.

Please note that this studio shares a wall that is relatively thin as far as soundproofing with the other studio that may or may not be occupied. If you’re a light sleeper or like to listen to music or TV loudly please inquire about other units that may be more suitable.

For safety, there is a ring doorbell at the front door. It is active 24/7. Video and sound recording is motion activated. The home is also equipped with a decibel monitoring sensor located outside of the home. It is 100% privacy compliant and is required on this property. Tampering with or disabling the ring doorbell and noise monitoring sensor will immediately cancel the reservation.

- Garden maintenance occurs on Fridays. Our team ensures the garden remains in excellent condition for your enjoyment.

Super convenient and simple accommodation. Easy walk to the Shakespearean theater, restaurants, shops and Lithia Park. Thin walls, as noted in the listing, but not a problem for us as our home base. Mostly we could just hear muffled television and running water on occasion.

Very nice place, clean and spacious. The bed was comfortable, there was extra seating and the lighting was good. The shower was great, with the showerhead high enough that my husband could stand under the spray, and the hot water didn't take forever. The hot/cold plate was backwards, but that's cosmetic. It worked great! The location is perfect for spending time downtown, and was also within walking distance of the Ashland Co-Op. Great hiking nearby too.

Sylvie’s place was awesome. As a small family we appreciated her accommodating our arrival time as we had tired kiddos. Upon arriving it was great to see easy parking - Her space was clean and extremely comfortable (almost too comfy as the bed was the best we’ve slept on while traveling) We appreciated the small kitchenette w/ all the essentials that allowed us to make a light breakfast w/ coffee in the am’s! Location was super close to town which made walking / running to Lithia park easy and accessible. Thanks for the great stay Sylvie , can’t wait to come back!

We love to stay in walkable neighborhoods and this unit is in our favorite area. Easy walk to a wide choice of restaurants and still a few good brick and mortar stores for shopping close by. We were very comfortable at Sylvia’s although it takes a while for the heat to reach the bathroom. No comment on “thin walls” as there was no one in the adjacent unit during our stay.

This was a very comfortable space to stay and matched exactly what the description was. I would definitely stay here again. It was really centrally located and easy to navigate from. Place was comfortable and clean. As described in the description, there is some sound that travels through the wall of the shared space. I would say if you were light sleeper this is not for you, but for me it really wasn’t an issue. I mostly just heard sounds of water from the other side. The host was also incredibly responsible, which was super helpful!

We really enjoyed staying at at Helman House for a weekend trip to Ashland. The studio was spacious and comfortable and very well outfitted with everything we needed. Its a great walkable location near the center of Ashland with lots of amazing outdoor activities and fabulous wine tasting all around. We LOVED staying in Sylvie’s place! So nice to be able to walk everywhere (coffee, restaurants, shopping, theater) and not have to worry about parking. It was 102 degrees in Ashland but our room was very comfortable around the clock. Everything was clean and all of our needs were met. We felt quite comfortable in Suite B. The bed was one of the best we have ever slept in. Although we didnt use the sofa as a bed, it was a very comfortable sofa to relax on. A great little unit, reasonably priced for the very good location with easy access to the main strip of Ashland, particularly the west end and Lithia Park. The beds were just fine, the bathroom surprisingly spacious, and the kitchen very well-equipped with both basic appliances and plates, cutlery, etc. The host was very communicative and responsive, as well. The living area becomes a little hard to navigate when the second bed is folded out, and the fact that both the kitchen and table area are carpeted rather than on hard, easy-to-clean surfaces made meals with young children a little harrowing, but for the price we had no complaints!

Sylvie’s place was just as described and as photos showed on the site. It was extremely tidy and clean and had everything we could need for a 2 night (or longer) stay. We slept so soundly on that great big king bed with nice linens. The mattress was firm, but not in a “hard” way, more like a firm density. The bungalow is one of two set behind the main house and was so quiet and private. You can easily walk to all the downtown areas where there are great restaurants, nightlife and theaters. Sylvie was also very easy to connect with and checked in with us before and during our stay by email to ensure we were doing ok and didn’t need anything. Would stay here again any time.

Spacious studio, King bed (very firm memory foam), 5-8min walk to west end of historic Ashland, theatres, & to Co-op! Overall very quiet and peaceful. Host is super responsive & proactive communicator. Very clean & tidy overall too. Id stay here again for the price, despite high "Service" fees. I was pretty disappointed by some stuff, & would say the listing is a bit misleading/lacks some specificity: Things guests might want to know more clearly: both studios are half of the same small building, sharing a somewhat thin wall. (No washer in the studio as listed). The Kitchen is VERY tiny & sparsely stocked for minimum functionality. I suggest listing cookware available. Some dishes were dirty from prev guests, not sure they're double checked by cleaner. Studio is 20feet off the back of a health center- woke us up 2 nights when in there at 10pm & 2am w/ bright office lights on. Bathroom maintenance was needed. Attention to 5star details bit lacking.

We really enjoyed our stay with Sylvie. The sweet little Studio B was perfect for us. Walking to restaurants, sightseeing and taking a snowy walk through Lithia Park was all very accessible. There is even a little closet to hang wet coats. The King bed is super comfortable and the heater gets the room warm quickly and kept us toasty in cold weather. All the amenities are just as described. We would love to stay with Sylvie again.

Studio B unit is in the back of property, where we enjoyed the privacy and window view to a quaint tree filled yard. We enjoyed the visit by 2 deer the 1st morning. The bed sheets were clean and soft on the comfortable king bed. Kitchen had all the amenities needed for our 4 day stay here in Ashland, would stay again!
