Welcome to our newly built studio cottage, the ultimate haven for solo travelers exploring the beautiful city of Ashland! Situated just a short 5 minute drive away from Ashland Plaza, this fully furnished space is designed to provide you with the utmost comfort and convenience during your stay.

Step inside and discover the comfortable features that await you. To keep you cozy during chilly nights or brisk mornings, the cottage boasts heated floors that envelop you in warmth. And when summer arrives, our window AC unit ensures that you can escape the heat and enjoy a cool oasis within.

The centerpiece of the cottage is a spacious king-size bed, inviting you to relax and rejuvenate after a day of exploration. Adjacent to the sleeping area, you'll find a convenient kitchenette equipped with a hot plate, fridge, microwave, toaster, coffee maker and electric kettle —everything you need to prepare light meals or enjoy a quick snack.

The studio is adjacent to the house. The backyard, pool and hot tub are reserved for front house guests only.

Note: This property has an approved Conditional Use Permit from the City of Ashland authorizing the operation of our property as a travel accommodation.

- You will be asked to sign a rental agreement.

- Garden maintenance occurs on Fridays. Our team ensures the garden remains in excellent condition for your enjoyment.

Cancellation Policy: 50% refund up until 60 days prior to arrival. No refund if cancelled within 60 days.

Unapproved late checkouts will incur an additional charge of $300.

quiet neighborhood, excellent communication with hostess, cute little space. only downsides are it's a little hard to access around the side of the property, and during entrance and exit it feels like you're in someone else's backyard (which you are, hoping the guests in the main house are nice!) it's a studio/kitchenette, so in that sense comparable to hotels.

My husband and I loved our short stay at this cozy property. Host sent very clear directions and everything was as pictured. Shower was nice and we enjoyed the small fridge and microwave. We had our dog with us and all went well. Walked to one of our favorite breakfast places (Morning Glory) and just a short 5 min. drive to theaters. We also hiked and wine tasted. Perfect location for us. We would definitely stay again.

The Beach Cottage is a small jewel of perfection. Everything has been thought of and provided for the comfort of the guest. The space is small but well designed, light, cheerful, and efficient. Minor issues were that I tried unsuccessfully to activate the floor heating before realizing that the faster way to heat things up was the heater until below it. Also, trash barrels in front of the house kept me from parking, also no big problem because I parked one door up the hill. Much appreciation of Sylvie's work on this and attention to every detail.

Sylvie's place was a very peaceful and comfortable stay. The space is neat and orderly and great for one person (or a couple). Sylvie is very responsive and communicates well. The neighborhood is quiet and friendly and if you like to walk it's a fairly easy stroll to the Safeway and a quick walk to the University and a doable walk to Morning glory restaurant. Far enough away from the hustle bustle but not too far. Highly recommended.

This little one-room studio is very clean, bright with good light, and has a fabulous bed. A few things you might want to know : It is 1.2 miles from Ashland's plaza -- a half-hour walk or 5-min drive, not the 4-minute stroll mentioned in the overview. There is only one sink, located in the main room. It was not a problem, but may be helpful to know. A small 2-person table with chairs has been added (see earlier review). The main house is also an airbnb, and the main house renters have use of the swimming pool, backyard, and trampoline, while the renter of this studio does not. I was fine with this. If you want to do much cooking, this is not the place for you. There is a toaster oven, microwave. Also a single induction burner -- but only 2 oversized pots and no cooking utensils, oil, salt, etc. Plan to bring in readymade food or eat out or eat simple.

I really appreciated the quiet location of this property. Close to anything you would want to do in ashland. I stayed for business and worked graveyard shift. I was able to sleep during the day without any interruptions. Might add a small table and chair outside to enjoy your coffe in the morning. I will look this place up on my next visit... this is how your stay should go. Great job to the hostess...

The room is a nice and secluded. The bed is wonderful. I’d recommend this place since it was just a half hour walk to town. Notes to consider: 1. I think it would be helpful to have a chair of any kind in the room. Maybe by The white closet. 2. I’m just going to put this out there since I have a sensitive nose. The trampoline out front before getting to front gate had a very strong moldy smell. Probably moisture next to the springs and vinyl. Probably can’t do anything about it. White vinegar scrub?. Don’t know. It didn’t permeate into room so moot point probably. 3. I should have checked with you before I made reservations but my husband wanted a 110 v or regular outlet to plug in his electric car. There was a car occupied in driveway. He used a level 2 charger at the university so that was fine. 4. Dennis said there were spiders in the room. I don’t mind them. Let them be as far as I’m concerned

The neighborhood is quiet and lovely to walk in, with parks nearby (with deer & wild turkeys!), and it is a short stroll to our favorite breakfast place (Morning Glory), or to Safeway. Downtown Ashland with all its amenities is a short drive or longish walk. We loved our stay, and would definitely come again! Outstanding host. :-)

I had a wonderful stay at Sylvie's place! The communication was fantastic from start to finish, and she made sure I had everything I needed. The space itself is bright, fun, and very clean, which made it feel really welcoming. Some reviews mentioned the air conditioner being in the walkway as you walk to the unit, but I honestly didn’t find it to be a big deal at all. It was still easy to get by and keeps the place comfortable. Overall, I would highly recommend Sylvie to anyone looking for a great stay!

I would definitely stay here again. The space was warm during my stay even though it was snowing outside. The radiant heat floors were amazing! I was planing on eating out at the restaurants Ashland has to offer but the snow kept me inside. I was able to cook my meals and make coffee everyday. Some things to note for other guests. The refrigerator is in the same room as the bed. If you are sensitive to sounds while sleeping make sure you are prepared. While the studio is all on one level, the walkway to the studio is very narrow because the air conditioner overhangs the walkway. If you have a mobility aid, like a walker, you might not be able to fit. Overall I love the location and space. I have already recommended it to others to stay in while in Ashland.

It’s been a freezing couple of days in Oregon… Which made the heated floor an extra special amenity! Absolutely love that! And with it getting dark so early still… The lighted pathway made me feel so safe, especially with snow. This is Such a cozy space and Sylvie is incredibly helpful as a host! Sylvie was very clear in her directions and even let me check in a few minutes early which I really appreciated. It fits the bill if you're looking for a simple, affordable, centrally located and quiet place to sleep, rest, shower, and then go out adventuring. Perfect little spot for passing through. Bright and charming little cottage, well designed for one person and four legged companions. Located in a quiet and friendly neighborhood just above downtown Ashland, easily walkable if you’re okay with a little bit of a longer stroll. The cottage is easy to find, the walkway does have a small section narrow halfway down from the A/C. It’s easily navigable but a little annoying if you’re carrying anything. The heated floors were a treat and the bed is wonderfully stiff.
