Welcome to our little slice of paradise! I'm Sylvie, your host and fellow adventurer. As a mother of three and someone who's spent years traversing the globe, I stumbled into the world of hosting and property management back in 2021 and quickly fell in love.

Our family of 5 stayed for 2 nights at Sylvie's wonderful place in Ashland on our summer road trip. It was a great location for our family, within walking distance to restaurants, the local grocery store, and the summer Shakespeare festival. The beds were super comfortable, the space is set up well, and the air conditioning was a lovely added bonus for hot afternoons. My teens appreciated having the separate 2nd floor to themselves, and my husband and I loved the primary suite with our own bathroom! Overall, this was my favorite place we stayed on our 2-week road trip. Thank you for a wonderful stay in Ashland.

I chose to have my bachelor party in Austin, Texas, and Sylvie's listing was a huge contributor to one of the best weekends I could have imagined! We had a group consisting of 10 guys, and the listing was spacious enough for all of us to hang out comfortably! The listing was located just far enough away from the busy streets while still allowing us to walk to plenty of bars and restaurants especially on 6th Street. Downtown was a short Uber ride away and did not take long waiting for any rides! One of our personal favorite features of the listing had to be the fact that it was nestled right next to the Taqueria La Esperanza food truck! I cannot express how amazing of a stay we had at Sylvie's listing, as well as the fact of how responsive and attentive she was for the entirety of our stay!

This residence is just off the far end of Ashland's downtown, and is conveniently located nearly next door to a supermarket, making it very easy to make use of the large kitchen. It's a short walk to the main shopping district and the Shakespeare festival - or to the University in the other direction. The railroad district is also a short distance away, featuring a nice public park, several restaurants, and the local favorite RoCo for coffee. The house is a lovely three-bedroom Victorian, with a fourth bed in a fold-out couch in a library off the main living room. If you need the fourth bed, be aware that it only has a curtain for privacy, not a full door. The house itself is very sturdy - meaning it's very quiet between rooms. There's a nice back deck and a small yard suitable for dogs. For the dog owners, the neighborhood is lovely to walk in - although take note of the "no dogs allowed" signs in the nearby graveyard! This was a beautiful house, and I'd happily stay again.

We were so happy to find this place for one night. Plenty of room for our group of 6, lots of towels and comfy beds. The place is just as described. We loved walking to downtown, so quick! We were able to visit a few favorites...restaurants, coffee shops & outdoor store....all so close by!
