Welcome to our little slice of paradise! I'm Sylvie, your host and fellow adventurer. As a mother of three and someone who's spent years traversing the globe, I stumbled into the world of hosting and property management back in 2021 and quickly fell in love.

We have been going to Ashland to see plays for over 50 years (yes 50!) and we have stayed in types of places over that time from Koa Campsites, to upscale and downscale Hotels and rentals. By far our best experience has been at this beautiful little cottage that is a 10 min walk to the plays and an abundance of restaurants.The housecleaning was immaculate, no issues and the house had everything the description claimed, including two studio apartments detached from the original house. The instructions for entering the house were as straightforward and simple as any other place we have stayed at. The kitchen is fully functional and we saved money by eating breakfast and lunch at the house rather than going out. It was a short walk to the afternoon and evening plays and takes less than 10 min to get to the theaters. It is sidewalks the entire way so no getting shoes or clothes dirty. The bedrooms were comfortable, large King and Queen sized beds with plenty of fresh bedding. Overall, I would highly recommend this rental for anyone looking for a cozy, convenient and fun little rental especially if it is a large family or multiple family group. Between the two large bedrooms in the main house and the two studios in back and the fold out couches etc it is ideal for larger groups. Long driveway with parking in back so parking several cars is no issue.5 stars all the way and 2 thumbs up (I would give it 10 thumbs up if I had that many thumbs!).

The location was great and the space was clean. It is essentially a basic studio style apartment/converted garage. The adjacent house is also a rental, but we had no noise or other issues with those guests. As other reviews note, the entrance is awkward with the AC sticking out into the main path, but certainly navigable. I traveled with pets and there is a small park nearby, but otherwise just small patches of grass along the street for bathroom breaks. I was there during an unusually hot weather spell, so the AC unit was working hard but not making much progress. A small fan would help circulate the air when the nights cool off. Also, this space does not have an area to sit outside & relax unless you take the small chairs outside.

we had an absolute blast at this airbnb! super spacious with TONS of mirrors which we loved as four girls getting ready multiple times haha. the location was great as well. you do have to get out of the car to open the gate every but otherwise loved how private everything was as well!

We went to Ashland for a family wedding and made the weekend a family get together as well since we found a house big enough to accommodate us all. It was absolutely perfect. The pool and hot tub and back house were perfect for the 20 something's and the rest of us could go to sleep and not hear a thing. The house was cozy but spacious. Close to town and just awesome.

Sylvie's place was exactly as described. Each suite was private and included a bedroom, kitchen and living area which made it very nice for our extended family. Sylvie communicated well. The historic building was very nice and each suite was very clean and well stocked.
