Welcome to our little slice of paradise! I'm Sylvie, your host and fellow adventurer. As a mother of three and someone who's spent years traversing the globe, I stumbled into the world of hosting and property management back in 2021 and quickly fell in love.

Location is perfect for Ashland! Walk to restaurants and shops or Lithia Park area. House was clean, beds comfortable, kitchen functional…everything you need for a stay! We had a family emergency and needed to stay an extra day, which Sylvie was able to accommodate. We will be back as this is one of the best places we’ve stayed!

The location of Helman house was perfect! It was very walkable and close to all of the activities in Ashland. The beds were very comfortable. I realize this is a pet friendly house but the smell of animal was strong and the carpets were pretty dirty. We were glad we brought our slippers.

It was a comfortable place to sleep and shower. Would recommend not using scented fresheners in the room. On arrival there was a strong peppermint scent that was unpleasant for us.

We had a girls weekend with 7 of us and there was plenty of space. Lots of lounging around space, the kitchen was huge and the beds were very comfortable. We loved using the pool and hot tub. The neighborhood was very quiet and only a mile walk to the theater district. Perfect place for our group!

My family and I stayed at Sylvie's house while we visited the Oregon Shakespeare Festival. The house was everything we needed - coffee and tea in the kitchen, comfortable and within a short walking distance to downtown Ashland. We appreciated that when coming out of a show at 11pm in the evening. The HVAC had gone out just before we arrived, and Sylvie was on it. She set up space heaters in the house before we got there and kept in touch with us daily on when the heat would be restored. We were comfortable. She also gave us $200 back on our rental fee. I recommend staying there!
